Discover the art of linocut printmaking in this small-group workshop. From first sketches to finished prints, you’ll learn carving and printing techniques—including options for colour and multi-block designs—and leave with your own completed block and original print. You can also choose to make your own cards or gift tags, to get ready for the Holiday season!

Learn Lino with Rose is a fun, hands-on introduction to linocut printmaking. In this one-day class, you’ll explore tools, carving, and printing, creating at least one finished block and print to take home. All materials, tea, and snacks are provided—just bring a packed lunch, visual inspiration, and an apron or old clothes.

Rose Parmley is a self-taught printmaker with seven years’ experience creating linocuts inspired by world art and iconography. Trained in Art History and working as a photography archivist, she shares her love of carving and printmaking through engaging, beginner-friendly workshops.
