The name ‘ParmPrints’ blends Rose’s surname with a playful nod to childhood palm printing and features a personal red seal incorporating Japanese Katakana.
Rose (b. 1991, British) is a trained printmaker, art historian, and archivist who lives and works in London.
Her hand-carved lino prints, made with traditional tools and printed by hand or on an Albion press, draw inspiration from global iconography—from medieval marginalia to Assyrian gate guardians, Egyptian creation tales, and Japanese lunar myths.
She has taken commissions ranging from classic farmhouses and family parks to beloved pets — dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs. Her work has sold at markets across London and the South East and is stocked by Turn & Fire, a craft-focused studio and shop in Sussex-where Rose also holds Linocut workshops.
